So glad we have become good friends and that I finally got to meet you. Next time you are skipping the pizza and going with the crew. I truly appreciate all the sharing you and our Voxer group do on a daily basis. You all help me laugh, stay calm, reflect and learn from our shared experiences. #wdtvs Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10253581819528923595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2348914146863959714.post-37889766443728407032015-01-03T17:24:56.360-06:002015-01-03T17:24:56.360-06:00Bummed you can't make it to Madison, but we wi...Bummed you can't make it to Madison, but we will find another time to get together. This does of course mean that when we get together, beer becomes a health food that needs to be consumed.....within reason. :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10253581819528923595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2348914146863959714.post-82423138896186794472015-01-03T17:19:10.580-06:002015-01-03T17:19:10.580-06:00Ohhhh Dennis......Transparent is easy. Well, mayne the coaching part, but even that is something I have wanted to be better at for a while. What I have found is that my PLN is a huge support network for me and I rely on them for a great deal of support and innovative thinking. I am glad you are a part of that group and support.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10253581819528923595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2348914146863959714.post-86412705366355088042015-01-03T13:18:30.035-06:002015-01-03T13:18:30.035-06:00Rock on brother - so proud of you for even putting...Rock on brother - so proud of you for even putting these goals out there for the world! I've had the goal of showing more gratitude this past year, and I'll keep that up, and am now adding one more (for my health) this year - drink more water!! ;) That should help with snacking and eating too much at each meal. Good luck, and again - let us know what we can do to help! Side note - I'll miss you and Leah at EdCampMadison this year. :( I just can't make it, but will follow the tweets!Joy Kirrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08883167887036480979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2348914146863959714.post-75954184688562614112015-01-02T17:21:53.685-06:002015-01-02T17:21:53.685-06:00Best of luck Tom on your goals. I've always struggled with making these kinds of "promises" to myself. Maybe it's the specificity of the commitment or the fear of failure. Maybe it's not having a clear set of priorities. But I expect to get there, someday. Why? Because of people like you who put a name or a number on it and remind us, that we are not alone in our pursuits. The support of family, good friends, and a wider PLN give us what we need to succeed. And best of all, when someone like you has committed to goals like these, they serve to benefit and inspire others. Which is really what we need to remember, as educators, right? Great post, Tom. Happy, Healthy New Year!

DennisDennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03421602885343623493noreply@blogger.com
